Rabbits will flee from the player when approached, but they are slower than the player and can be cornered. While tedious and impractical, Rabbits can be killed in melee. One should note that doing so will destroy that particular spawn. Homeless rabbits can be created by digging the Rabbit Holes. Players can also easily catch homeless Rabbits at night when they are asleep and immobile, allowing the player to place Traps directly on top of them. To catch a Rabbit, place a Trap directly above a Rabbit Hole. There is a 10% chance of Rabbits spawning from a Prestihatitator when prototyping a recipe.
